I finished this one up a couple weeks ago and forgot to post anything about it. I was intrigued when @wichitafallschamber asked about a scissor case... I wasn’t expecting these giant ribbon slayers! I had to take on a the challenge. Vegtan with hand carved WFCC logo, full brass YKK zipper and shearling lined interior. I’d like to note that these scissors are legit and very sharp! The old case that was in use was floppy and the tie downs did not secure the scissors, leading to the tip puncturing throwing one end of the case and zipper. I added a sort of sheath end to keep the point of the scissors in place while a fold flap holds the handles in place for a safe and secure travel case. . I can’t wait to see this case after a couple of years of use and patina being put to hard use by the Chamber of Commerce and the Gold Coat Ambassadors!
