Live performance on Sunday at @cara_the_org So excited to finally announce this, as it’s been in the works for some time. I’ll be doing an extended live sound performance to close out Cara’s 3 weekend long “Conjurings” series inaugurating their new space on W 13th St. Very honored to have been given this special role after the three weekends of incredible programming they’ve done. Come thru on Sunday 1:00pm - 6:30pm for the whole program as well as me weaving sonic spells for the last 90 minutes. . Cara is located at 225 W 13th St in the building that formerly housed the @dfarecs offices and studio. Between 2002 and 2016 I worked there repairing, designing and building gear for the label, recorded two albums, several singles and remixes and many contributions to @lcdsoundsystem I slept there, lived there on occasion, had mental health crises, fought with my girlfriends, did drugs, had hangovers, filmed music videos, did magic, worshipped and prayed to ancestors and gods, made small temporary homes for myself, had countless conversations with James, Tim, Jon and all the folks that worked, recorded and interned there, met @bisradio @trevorjacksonofficial @thejuanmaclean @duranduran and like zillions of other people.
