Last week, #GeorgetownLaw welcomed The Hon. Mariano-Florentino "Tino" Cuéllar, president of @carnegieendow and former justice of the Supreme Court of California, for a conversation with Dean William M. Treanor before an audience of our LL.M. students. Cuéllar spoke on a wide range of subjects, including his childhood on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border, his approach to decision making during his tenure on California's highest court, and his belief that education and communication are key to strengthening international relations in polarized times.
