Once a crumbling 19th-century relic, restored to its former glory by Francis Ford Coppola (director of The Godfather) while re-discovering his roots in the 15th-century town of Bernalda (aka Matera). Each of Palazzo Margherita’s 9 suites are completely different and staying here feels more like a family home than a hotel.
