We just had a chat about what it means to be a successful musician in this day and age. For us, its not stats. It's not followers. It's not charts, or streams, or platinum discs. It's probably something like... one of your songs is someone's favourite song in the world. What an honour. To be the musical sum of someone's life. Phenomenal feat. Anthony's is "Brothers on a Hotel Bed" by @deathcabforcutie. He said it makes him feel like he can stretch his arms out and fly. Mine is "Over The Hill" by @pollypaulusma. When I first heard it 20 years ago it made me want to write songs. And then she bloody sang it at our wedding, so now it reminds me of how music led me to love and fullness. What's your favourite song in the world and why?
