Nothing should stand between you and your health decisions ✨ It is freakin’ exhausting to continuously fight for these essential rights that protect the health and safety of all women, non-binary and trans. This shouldn’t even be up for discussion nowadays. It is disheartening to be transported back and lose all the hard work and gradual progression that has been occurring over the past 50 years. After reading a lot of information lately on how this is not only just the beginning of stripping the rights from all women, non-binary and trans - this is gonna greatly affect everyone in a MANY different ways in a matter of time. And it’s upsetting that a good majority believe “this is a better vision” of what we can be. Because it’s NOT. The person I am today and my own career wouldn’t be anything near where it is now without the powerful and courageous women in my life. I owe my whole voice to them. And as we live in a day of age, where news is disgested and quickly forgotten, this is NOT something that should be just thrown away because the exhaustion of “always reading bad things” on your timeline. Yes it’s okay to take a step back and reflect but don’t just leave the fight and leave the millions of voices behind. Now is not the time to surrender away our voices. There are gonna be a lot of battles, whether it be within your inner-circle or the bigger battle in our world so now is not the time to be hopeless in possible change. We have to keep each other safe and courageous because this is not how things should be. Never should have been up for discussion in the first place. Anyone’s personal objection to the issue, don’t give them the right to deny bodily autonomy to others. Everyone deserves the opportunity to feel safe and taken care of in their surroundings. Because right now it is truly terrifying the direction we are going in. Continue to READ, REPOST, SHARE, and EDUCATE OTHERS on everything going on.
