April Acknowledgements 💭 - April wasn’t a month of progressive madness the same way that March was for me and really that’s ok. I spent a good chunk of it connecting with creatives and admiring their creations. To be able to rock jewellery pieces by a day one from the ends and to also film for one of the most recognised customisers in streetwear today has been big come ups this month. Seeing the greatness of likeminded individuals fuels the ambition of your own legacy and it was one of them ones where even after a long day of work, i didn’t feel tired and I relish that state of mind. - Coming back to Egham after almost 3 years, i didn’t know how to fully feel. It all felt so familiar despite how alot of things in the uni has changed and developed. The good and bad from memories of RHUL and looking back at everything on campus and sharing those experiences really let me value my growth since my days doing up 5AM shifts in media labs or working in the SU. The nights i’d spend in my Reid and Runnymede accoms not knowing where tf i’d end up after all this was said and done and even if the relationships i made in uni would last. Those were questions i have answers to now and even if wasn’t what i’d wish for back then, I know i’m where i need to be and i’m riding with people that choose to be with me and it’s not simply proximity. That aside, it was great seeing old faces and meeting new peeps in the graduation party. Late nights in Englefield Green will always be a vibe and i’m thankful to those that welcomed me in that space. - Come what May, let’s see what this next month brings. I want to hold off talking about work as I’m figuring some things out and we’ll hopefully have big things coming. Working on being that better me and even went to therapy for the first time in my life bc of wellbeing granted by TSS. One more day at a time.
