These smash burgers with the house sauce! HOLY MOLY they are for SURE one of my most-made recipes from this summer. 𤤠Toasted brioche, extra-seasoned flattened beef patties with the golden brown crust, melty American cheese, pickles and lettuce for me, and seriously, the house sauce. Itās got horseradish (!!) and garlic and mayo and ketchup and sriracha and just W-O-W itās so good. I donāt normally keep horseradish in my fridge... until summer of 2022! This is on heavy rotation.
My cast iron stovetop griddle has been working great for these but honestly Iāve been making these burgers so much that Iām now considering buying an outdoor griddle specifically for these. š
Got inspired to try the flavor-base mix-in method from @chefreshaās smash burger recipe on her website - 𤯠so seriously life changing.
What I used with the beef:
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
- couple swishes of fish sauce (!!!)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
(plus a good pinch of salt on top of each burger once it hits the griddle)
