True story... went to blow out a candle in my studio a few weeks ago, forgetting I had gum in my mouth. It went shooting straight out into the hot wax and that sucker was STUCK. I’ve also done this with a chunk of kale from my salad. . Pro tip: swallow your food or spit out your gum before you give that candle a hefty blow. Or use a candle snugger.
