reminiscing on my travels biking solo to the north of Ibiza and witnessing the healing sea and pulsing sunsets. snapshots in time, gentle reminders of the golden skin i am born in and create within. gentle reminders. i am reminded of little marie who imagined worlds in her driveway and manifested them w chalk. reminded of the way she used to build houses for the worms in her yard. as she grew she learned to make smaller those worlds, those houses. traveling solo quickened me to slow down the worlds i’ve built for protection and safety. what would it look like to take the youth-bringing sun w me wherever i go? i am reaching here for this moment and i believe it to be the turning point of some deep shifts 🤎
