November 15 — my most special day. The day I became a mom, twice! Both my girls, born on the same day, five years apart. It feels like pure magic. This past year, watching you bond, love, and laugh together has been the greatest gift and my proudest achievement. The joy of seeing your connection grow is something I’ll treasure forever. The most important lesson I hope to give both of you as you grow is this: stay grounded, stay true to yourselves, and never be afraid to put yourselves first. When you are whole and well within, everything around you will flourish. The best version of you will radiate to everyone in your life. Even though you share a birthday, your personalities are so uniquely yours. Allegra, you’re soft, gentle, and deeply sensitive. And Aurora, if I could speak for you, you already seem strong-willed and determined. I adore this dynamic between you because I know you’ll learn so much from each other. Your differences will make you stronger together. Before Aurora was born, I worried. I couldn’t imagine how I’d ever love someone as much as I love Allegra, or how I’d have enough time for both of you. But wow, the heart does expand. It finds new corners of love, unique and special for each child. I’ve learned how important it is to spend individual time with each of you, but I also know how essential it is for you to cherish your time together. Those moments of sisterhood — the laughter, the teamwork, and even the disagreements — teach you to grow, to communicate, and to love deeply. Of course, there are hard days when nothing seems smooth, when there are tears, and it feels like too much. But even in those moments, you’re learning how to come back together, to talk things out, and to move forward. Happy 6th birthday to my incredible Allegra, and happy 1st birthday to my magical Aurora. You’ve given me the greatest gift — the gift of motherhood.
