Provisions! Breadfruit & Eddoe I spent a lot of time chasing flavours in food and wine from the European theatre. Sure it’s great. Respect. After my French Language Degree. I took off to Paris. See what that life is like in the city of lights! You know, everyone flexes the same. Food and Drink - Spirit or Wine. Seasonings are similar or, only different in nuance and ratio. Picnics in the park, gathering with simple food or attentively prepared exquisite food. Same Same It’s feeding our souls and hearts. My parents and family have always done this...in the same way... I did notice, after all these years I had moved away from the island flavours I grew up with. Now I’m bringing them back. I cook with less spice but there is a lot of flavour. Roasted Breadfruit w/ crisped leeks Boiled Eddoe and Yam with Spanish Olive Oil and Sea Salt! Sautéed Shitake with Ontario Snap Peas and Okra! A few snips of Scotch Bonnet to measure. Paired w/ Huber 2019 Traisental DAC Grüner Veltliner Terrassen! No photos. I was hungry and thirsty!
