A client came to me with a bold printed tile she had fell in love with, but was deliberating whether or not to incorporate it into her kitchen. Many had given her mixed feedback about whether or not to follow her vision. My response ? “ If that tile makes you happy, let’s do it ! “ This custom home had so many gorgeous details & woodwork, but it needed a change to give it back the “wow” appeal it once had. By lightening up the upper cabs, the tiled upper backsplash could now be noticed and the lack of natural light was no longer a detriment. Using a timeless, classic and on trend black & white foundation, we were able to ramp it up with a bold backsplash that truly tied all the elements together.
