My second half marathon *Did not get a PR* But, so special for a few reasons - 1. I ran it in honor of my Grandfather who was a Marine but passed away in 2019. His birthday was May 14th & the race was the 18th. I felt it was a beautiful way to honor him. 2. Not even a year ago I did not believe I would be able to run ONE half marathon & here I am now having completed my SECOND two months later! OH & I’m signed up for a FULL 26.2 marathon in November of this year🎉 3. I ran it PAIN free & I am absolutely amazed at what my body is capable of. I thank God I get to do this!
