I turned 40 a couple weeks ago and had a weeklong party with most of my best friends. They dubbed it Derballapalooza and I’ll run with that title. I’ve ignored every birthday of mine for the last 15 years. But this one was different and such a beautiful reminder of how much I’m loved and how much I love my friends. With this crew, I have more fun now than I did in my twenties.
