When Sally and Michel Perrin settled down in this paradisal escape on Mexico’s coast, they knew they wanted an open-air enclave that felt one with the surrounding landscape. “Communing with nature—the outside experience—is almost more important than being inside,” Michel says. “We don’t have glass windows anywhere in the house.
