October is Black History Month in the UK and this year the theme is Time for Change: Action Not Words. ⁠ ⁠ As a publishing house, we play an important role in tackling racism, promoting anti-racism and giving space for Black authors to tell their stories. During the month of October, we will be sharing a video series created in collaboration with some of our authors to celebrate this important month. ⁠ ⁠ This video series will be both a wonderful celebration and an important moment of reflection and we’re so grateful to our authors for helping us to bring these videos to you – thank you.⁠ And thank you also to blackhistorymonth.org.uk for providing so much helpful information and resources.⁠ ⁠ Do take a look at the last slide in the image carousel above as it contains a list of black charities that support anti-racism equity and equality.
