This is one of my favorite quotes from one of my favorite Kabbalists. One of the hardest lessons I am still learning as a Kabbalah student is the concept of “love for no reason.” This makes me laugh because it’s effortless to “hate for no reason.” Usually, to love another person, we need many reasons, and to hate them, we only need one, if any. But this quote by Rabbi Nachman of Breslov reminds me that love for no reason can also be something experienced personally and privately.
