APIs aren’t “the most objectified” community but rather, API women are more objectified and sexualized than API men, correlating with a broader, pernicious reduction of women—particularly women of color—in media. This, of course, is not the fault of women but rather, typically, the fault of men. Which means it’s evermore incumbent on men to correct the misportrayals of people identifying as women.
