We lost our best friend to cancer this morning. Nate’s mom was an angel on earth. She taught me so much about how to live, love, and give. She also brought me Nate. She watched me break his heart and walked him back into my life. I will see her in him every single day and will continually thank God for the way she raised him into the man he is. Today is Nate and I’s wedding anniversary. And her funeral is Saturday, which happens to be Nate’s birthday. This year has been hard but Tracy has taught us how to fight. And how to lean on the Lord when the hurt feels too heavy. We cling to His peace, love and grace in the midst of this storm. We love you all for the prayers sent our way. Nate’s dad passed from Cardiac Arrest just before our wedding. Tracy’s terminal cancer diagnosis came right before ila was born. I only say that to tell you to love your people big and forgive fast. Because we would do anything for Ila to have her grandparents at her first birthday.
