The other day a friend asked me if after all of the places I’ve seen does anything still surprise me. My answer was, “of course!” Petra was one of those places that no matter how many times I’ve seen it in photos, nothing could compare to what it was like in real life. Structures carved out of rock in 300BC, surrounded by pathways and stairs to hidden locations and view points. It felt like there were endless places to explore and discover. Aside from getting constantly approached to take donkey rides or guided tours, being there was pretty magical. 😂🇯🇴✨
