📍Studio Be ⁣ ⁣ Founded in 2016 by artist and muralist Brandan “BMike” Odums (@bmike2c), StudioBE has become a fixture of New Orleans’ art culture. According to BMike, the 36,000 sq. ft warehouse was made to “cultivate the power and responsibility of artists to create a better world.” But to many, StudioBE exists to ask hard, thought-provoking questions. Through his art, BMike takes societal issues affecting the Black community and flips them, often by using historical figures or high-impact installations to stimulate discussion.
