Leia pitched the concept to me and told me do whatever I felt, so I spent a few days studying this impressionable film, updating the repressed recollection I had of it, and appreciating the brilliant, child-like imagination of Tim Burton. I had somehow glued my memory of Mars Attacks with the ones I have of Butt Ugly Martians. Love how these reimagined pieces turned out.
