It's National Fettuccine Alfredo Day in the USA, and you can still enjoy the classic as a vegan. š±ā¤ļø ā INGREDIENTS:ā - 1/2 cup vegan butterā - 2 cups unsweetened soy milkā - 4 oz vegan cream cheeseā - 3 large cloves garlic, mincedā - 1 teaspoon garlic powderā - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoningā - 1/4 teaspoon salt, or more to tasteā - Few shakes black pepperā - 1 cup grated vegan parmesan cheeseā - Cooked fettuccine pastaā - Red chili flakes for serving (optional)ā ā METHOD:ā 1. Add the vegan butter, soy milk, and cream cheese to a large skillet. Cook over medium heat and whisk until the butter has melted.ā 2. Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper and whisk until smooth. ā 3. Whisk in the parmesan cheese until melted.ā 4. Serve immediately over cooked fettuccine.
