It's National Fettuccine Alfredo Day in the USA, and you can still enjoy the classic as a vegan. šŸŒ±ā¤ļø ⁠ INGREDIENTS:⁠ - 1/2 cup vegan butter⁠ - 2 cups unsweetened soy milk⁠ - 4 oz vegan cream cheese⁠ - 3 large cloves garlic, minced⁠ - 1 teaspoon garlic powder⁠ - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning⁠ - 1/4 teaspoon salt, or more to taste⁠ - Few shakes black pepper⁠ - 1 cup grated vegan parmesan cheese⁠ - Cooked fettuccine pasta⁠ - Red chili flakes for serving (optional)⁠ ⁠ METHOD:⁠ 1. Add the vegan butter, soy milk, and cream cheese to a large skillet. Cook over medium heat and whisk until the butter has melted.⁠ 2. Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper and whisk until smooth. ⁠ 3. Whisk in the parmesan cheese until melted.⁠ 4. Serve immediately over cooked fettuccine.
