Thank you for giving me my life back 😭😭. Words that will stay with me for many weeks on. Those were the words said to me today by my gorgeous client when we settled their separation this afternoon. Unravelling a marriage is scary. It requires a support network. It requires compromise. It requires trust in your team and the ability to let go. Today after many many months of planning and working together, we felt the relief of putting all the hurt in the past and cried tears of joy when we looked to what the future held. These are the moments that I live for. This is why I chose to practice in family law. It’s the ability to help people move on. To embrace the new. To free themselves of the past.
