This month we are featuring Robyn Dixon as our Member of the Month! Her husband is a retired player who played in Washington D.C., Portland, Toronto, and Detroit. Since retiring, they've decided to settle in Elkridge, MD, which is almost midway between Baltimore (their hometown) and DC. Robyn owns the company, Embellished, which primarily sells satin-lined baseball caps for women (www.embellished.shop). After cutting her hair really short for the first time, she needed to find cute hats that also protected her hair while wearing them. There, Embellished was born. Robyn also recently launched Glo RX, a skincare line with affordable and accessible skincare solutions, including a monthly facial club (www.glorx.co). She is also one half of the Reasonably Shady Podcast (NAACP Image Award Nominated) and a 7 season cast member of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Potomac. Robyn has also dabbled in Real Estate investing and plans on finding and working on her next flip soon. When she isn't running one of her lucrative businesses, she relaxes by watching Insecure and Black-ish. A fun fact about her is that she was in a P. Diddy video in 2001, Bad Boy for Life. One of her favorite quotes is, “A setback is a setup for a comeback.” Robyn first heard this quote while she was experiencing major struggles and adversity.
