💔 Heartbreaking footage yesterday of a fur seal entangled in shark nets off Avoca, NSW. This seal was released after contractors were called to the scene, but upon pulling the net out of the water, a Critically Endangered Grey Nurse Shark was discovered to have been killed by the same net. We don’t need more reports or surveys calling for the removal of these indiscriminate killing devices. Councils, communities and leading expert advice could not be clearer. ❌😡 We need #NETSOUTNOW.
