#TMB Day 3: MAGICAL! 📍Ville des Glaciers 🇫🇷 to Courmayeur 🇮🇹 🗺 14.5 miles, 4,000 ft elev gain It was wet and rainy with fog rolling in and out, just adding to the magic. I didn’t pull my phone out much for photos because of the rain but Johnna captured some good shots. The climbs were tough on tired legs and the descents were pretty brutal on the knees, but the smooth miles in between were absolute perfection. They made for some of the best running of my life. Hands down. I couldn’t wipe the grin off my face all day. Arriving in Courmayeur felt like dying and going to heaven. After 3 days, 44+ miles and thousands upon thousands of feet of elevation gain, we headed for the first sign of pizza. 🤌🍕 High on endorphins and hungry, it was easily one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. (We’ve since shared 3 more pizzas.) We stayed in a hotel for the night, which felt exceptionally glamorous after a night in the refugio. 🧖‍♀️💅🏼 Next up: Switzerland 🇨🇭 (which means we’re cramming as many pizzas and pastries into our mouths as possible before we leave) #tourdumontblanc #runcation
