@milanodirouge partnered with @councilmemberkj to give five women from throughout Philadelphia who have lost children due to gun violence a day of health, wellness, pampering and healing. The Milano Mamanaire Experience included a delicious breakfast catered by @DeeperThanSoul, a complete makeover experience by top hairstylists and makeup artists in the Philadelphia Area. A beautiful live poet reading, therapeutic healing group activities along with individual therapy sessions from amazing therapists, and a delicious lunch at at LUK Fu restaurant. Followed by rejuvenating full body massages at top tier luxury spa “The Underground Spa at The Logan”. Each mother received over $600 of Milano Di Rouge Merchandise and was exclusively styled by an amazing stylist. We all enjoyed delicious cake by Cupcakes at Tiffany’s. They received a bunch of gifts and a nice gentleman saw what we were doing and came and donated toys to them as well. The Mamanaires were pampered and treated like the queens they are! I approached Councilman Kenyatta several weeks ago with the ideal of giving a select number of women throughout Philadelphia who have lost loved ones to gun violence a special day before the start of Christmas. His office recommended the five women selected to participate. Following “The Healing After Tragedy” Mamanaire event, Milano Di Rouge is dedicated to getting guns off the streets of Philadelphia by partnering with city officials to host a Gun Buyback Event. Milano Di Rouge will compensate $100.00 for each firearm collected totaling up to $10,000. I honestly don’t know what will reduce the violence in the city but I’m praying that this is a start.
