Although @damienlangloismeurinne_studio is mainly inspired by nature, his projects are often urban—specifically Parisian. This 6,000-square-foot apartment for which he was recently given carte blanche has sweeping views across the Place du Trocadéro all the way to the Eiffel Tower, referred to by the designer as “an iconic axis of history and architecture.” His design approach was governed by a desire for purity, with a pale palette in the public spaces that lets the natural light prevail. In the dining room, shown here, the “Iron Lady” overlooks several of Langlois-Meurinne’s own creations, including a custom table with an Ice Jade marble top and a set of SAM chairs.
