After 17 wonderful years working for Disney, I’m leaving for an exciting new opportunity. I remember being 21 and getting a life-changing call from a Disney recruiter with the offer to work at ABC Family. I started as an assistant at Disney the same day Bob Iger started as CEO and could feel the momentum from day one. Working for such an innovative company as it expanded into uncharted territories was a privilege and the best learning opportunity I could ask for! I’m so grateful for all of the incredible people I’ve met while working at ABC Family/Freeform: bosses who became mentors, colleagues who became friends, my rock star employees whose incredible career paths are the highlight of my own career, producers who trusted me to bring their shows to life on social in unimaginable ways, talent who made my job fun, and the millions of fans whose passion and creativity inspire me daily. I will miss you all!
