We at the Studio were lucky to have a Studio Kitchen Visit last week. Thank you to Jens Klemke for coming over to join us and for offering our studio team a colourful, seasonal, vegan lunch á la Chipperfield Kantine: Savoy cabbage and potato strudel, smokey baked carrot puree, and lamb’s lettuce with lentils. Empty plates and happy faces! Looking forward to returning the visit.⁠ ⁠ The Chipperfield Kantine @dca.berlin, similar to the SOE kitchen, is led by a focus on vegetarian cuisines made from fresh organic produce, using resources with respect and minimal wastage. ⁠ ⁠ While primarily serving the David Chipperfield Architects’ staff, the Kantine also offers lunch and coffee to guests at their Berlin-Mitte location indoors and outdoors under plane trees in their courtyard.
