When strangers pass me by and say that I have my hands full, most of the time they probably mean that I’m juggling A LOT & it looks exhausting. Yes they’re probably somewhat right. Yes I’m in a season of chaos, constant clean up, days of defeat, & collapsing onto my bed at the end of each day. What they fail to see or mention is that my hands are also full of so much love-more than I’ve ever experienced. Simultaneously I’m also in a season of so much purpose, exploring the world through innocent eyes, being someone’s greatest safe space, daily big belly laughs, wet kisses, & unprovoked “I love you’s”. Life’s currently a beautiful mess but I’m finding a new version of myself that I love through my kids. Yes I am their mother but they are my teachers.
