#BFCNEWGEN designer @robynlynchireland and BFC Scholar alumni @paolina_russo have been shortlisted for the @thewoolmarkcompany Prize. They are among the 8 finalists that have been selected for the 2023 edition, representing the next generation of creatives vouching for a better tomorrow whilst mastering the beauty and ethics of working with Australian Merino wool. Since its first edition in the 1950s, the prize has undoubtedly played a part in fashion history counting with Valentino Garavani, Yves Saint Laurent and Karl Lagerfeld among some of its winners. Dublin-born menswear designer @robynlynchireland, a 2022/23 NEWGEN recipient, founded her brand after graduating from the University of Westminster in June 2018. Lynch' Irish roots are embedded in the label's ethos and translate in the silhouette and finish of the brand's cable knits.
