In my three decades in the United States, I've had rare opportunities to drape this six-yard wonder, but a recent trip to India rekindled my yearning to style it. Thanks to the inspiring @thesariseries films , I delved into the modern interpretations and tapped into the rich textile heritage, leading me to @borderandfall and @raw_mango , who graciously provided these beautiful saris. Bringing this vision to life is my brilliant photographer, @permanentglimpse . With this shoot, I hope to challenge perceptions and showcase the sari as a contemporary, ever-evolving expression of culture.
