I don’t know when it happens but we somehow lose our ability to truly play as adults and one of my favorite aspects of becoming a parent is when I felt that part of me get unlocked. Seeing the world through your child’s eyes has to be one of the most magical feelings I’ve ever experienced. Children are such a gift and are a clear invitation to slow down and be in the moment which is something many of us have forgotten how to do with the pressures of adulthood. So let this be your reminder to belly laugh, chase your kids around like a lion, or color a picture. Don’t over think it, just let yourself play.
