@dagmarlondon, the London gallery with an in-house workshop, recently launched a collection of licensed designs spearheaded by Arnold Madsen’s iconic 1944 Clam chair, one of the 20th century’s most coveted pieces. Madsen, a Danish upholsterer, didn’t have the level of technical or formal training of most designers and the result is design that is quite organic and original.
