After a two-and-half-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Homelessness Resource Centre (HRC) at Ozanam House has now reopened its doors to clients.
Danielle Harley, Manager of Health and Treatment Services said, “It was such a great atmosphere and good to see the space begin to be utilised again. It is also an extremely important day for our clients as we can start providing these essential drop-in services again.”
The Homelessness Resource Centre is a purpose-built homeless hub with an incorporated health clinic and support services for people aged 18 years and over. This includes a large concentration of people sleeping rough – people who fall between the gaps. The team of staff, volunteers and peer support workers provide safe, supportive and welcoming health and wellbeing programs. #AntiPovertyWeek #APW22 #goodworks
