Miami 100 Miler coming in 10th place and finishing 29:00 flat. 75 Runners, 15 finishers. My hardest but favorite race yet. I treated this race exactly how I treated prep. Same shit different day. I went into this race knowing it would be hard.. it’s 100 miles... it’s how long can I endure pain when what’s in-front of me is unknown. When your a marathon in and still have 75 miles left, when it’s 104 degrees, when my vision starts to blur, when my whole body’s swollen or blisters are growing on my toes, that’s where you start to question everything. I went into this prep with one goal. Get a fucking buckle. At every race I do, I think about what I’ve been through, what I’ve pushed through, what I’ve said, who I want to be.
