Every day you have a choice to show up for yourself or make excuses.
The night I took these photos I was there purely off discipline. I’m not new to this, I’m true to this (corny?).
Working out past 9pm is not my vibe anymore. But I’ve been in the gym for 7-8yrs now. I’ve restarted my own journey multiple times.
If you want to see results you begin to show up for yourself. You create habits that you can apply logically and not emotionally.
Because babyyyyyy, emotionally I did not want to workout. I wanted to pick up tacos and watch Netflix bundled up.
Logically, I knew that I could be in and out that night and be one step closer to my goals... and get tacos after.
That goes for all aspects of life not just the gym. :)
So here’s your reminder to show up for yourself when you can. We all need rest days. But learn to understand when you’re making excuses or just being lazy.
