Mega Glide! I’m so excited to share this short film I made of my friend @shawnparkin. I’d been wanting to experiment with video for awhile to see if I could apply the aesthetics from my Borrowed Light photos to moving images. This short is my first stab at it. Making this video required me to learn how to actually film someone surfing, edit video, fix mistakes I made in camera with post process techniques, and achieve the look I was after. It was fun to challenge myself, but also humbling to be bad at something and have to work to improve. I ended up with something I am proud of and I’m stoked to have made it with my friend Shawn, and the support of @thaliasurf. The short is only 2 minutes long, so take a couple of minutes and breath it in. Oh yeah, I also wrote and recorded the music for the video.
