Can’t remember who told me “that if you are good to your team/crew, on the days you aren’t quite 100% they’ll carry you”. Couldn’t be prouder of everyone involved. Apart from the brain melting heat, it really felt like we were all enjoying the craft and learning together as we went along. The director gets a lot of the praise for being the leader but the energy of every job is predicated on how those at the bottom of the call sheet are treated. Casting teams found us the amazing @officialpamilerin and got 200 extras into a church scene, production design built a church, found period cars in Lagos, Production managed to get extra rolls of film through lagos customs, costumes dressed everyone!! The development team trusted me when i said let’s put a 10 ft lizard in the film lol - so yeah be nice and listen to your team - doesn’t cost you anything. - Congratulations to all the long list and now shortlist nominees #bafta @kodak_shootfilm @technicolorpost
