Whew!! Today was a day full of SO many emotions. Heartbroken to say the least. . My Sweet...Miss Denise. My mentor, my Pisces twin...I don’t think I’ve fully processed the fact that you’re gone, but today sharing stories, memories, and seeing all the LIVES and CAREERS you have impacted helped my heart just a little. . Saying goodbye is never easy and see you later doesn’t feel soon enough. . From pushing and believing that this 9year old girl could take on a lead role in a stage play, to cutting a hole out of the side of a casket i had to lay in on stage (because I’m claustrophobic 😫😂 and damn near had a meltdown) to taking me to get my first tattoo 😎, crying like babies on our last production, to the adult convos about love, life, and career movement... I am forever indebted and grateful for being blessed to have had this woman in my life. . I pray you were up in heaven with Mr. Coley today enjoying us celebrate your life and your legacy. Now it’s our turn to be “out here dancing for YOU” you have taken wings and I promise to continue to honor you for the rest of my life. Thank you Miss Denise. Loving you my sweet 💜💜
