Not many people have a close relationship with their grandparents, but I was lucky enough to consider this old man as one of my best friends. From being co-best men at my dads wedding, to smoking cigars at the lake, and always kicking his ass in cornhole; I cherished every moment we got to spend together. He taught me how to be a man and showed me the importance of family. He was the biggest role model in my life and I looked up to him each and everyday. When anyone would talk down on me he was always the first one to stand up for me. Nonno you were the biggest inspiration in my life, I’ll always be grateful for the bond we had, and all the life lessons you taught me throughout the years.
