Miquelle McCarthy, a social work major in @XuCalStateLA, was one of 23 students statewide to receive the 2022 California State University (@thecsu) Trustees’ Award for Outstanding Achievement. The award is the top academic achievement award in the CSU and recognizes superior academic performance, exemplary community service and significant personal accomplishment. “I look forward to contributing to the lives of people struggling and providing them strength and empowerment,” McCarthy said.
