And we want you and your Pride to take part. . Beginning June 1, Showcase Packets will be available at designated Pride Pickup Points around the community. Each packet will contain a set of simple guidelines and two pride flags. We want you to use the flags to create a piece of wearable fashion or costumery, and then walk your design (or have it walked by the model of your choice) during the showcase at Color Fairhope With Pride on June 18th. 🏳️‍🌈 Q. What are the rules? A. The rules are simple: 1. Use two pride flags to create a wearable design that visibly celebrates LGBTQ pride. 2. No hate. There is a lot to feel angry and hurt and scared about right now, And those emotions are valid and deserve to be heard. But this showcase is about celebrating pride and creativity and building a community of visible support that can reach even the least visible among us. So focus on love, pride, and inclusion. 3.
