Featuring a depiction of Tina Turner as Quan Am, bodhisattva of love and compassion, this altar is rooted in the lotus sutra and incorporates elements of Viet Buddhism, Filipino Catholicism, and music - to honor those who have gone before us and represent truths of transcendence.
