Woke up at 8am on Thursday to go try Mary O’s Irish Soda Bread Shop! These freshly baked soda bread “scones” are served fresh out of the oven and get lathered with homemade blackberry jam and salted Irish butter! These are truly special, with a crunchy exterior and perfectly soft and fluffy interior. The jam adds great flavor, and while I enjoyed the saltiness from the butter, it’s not necessary IMO and I’d order without! There were only 5 in people ahead of us on a Thursday at 8:30am, and we still had a 45 minute wait because of the way in which the bakes are timed. So, I’d come ready to be patient, or wait few months until they have a great system down!
