Remember when I got to Greece in July and I was struggling with my incessant prickly heat rash (that’s popped up on every sunny holiday for as long as I can remember)? A lot of you DM’d me with the same issue or products/medication you’ve found successful - thank you! For years, low dose oral steroids was the only solution that bought me any real, quick relief. I used them so sparingly but I knew it wasn’t a safe option long term. I switched to an antihistamine every day before heading out into the sun, and I started using a water based SPF spray on my body, as creams trapped too much heat in. On my body I use @vichylaboratoires Capital Soleil Solar Protective Water Hydrating SPF50 / on my face, neck and lips @ultravioletteau Supreme Screen & Sheen Screen, both SPF50. When I would get too hot, I mist the @avene_au Thermal Spring Water to cool & calm the agitated area. It took me 1-2 weeks of daily antihistamines before I no longer needed them, and I continued using the liquid products with great success. This has been a game changer for me.
