We're looking for curators, film programmers, filmmakers, and film scholars who would like to share their knowledge with other Black, Brown, and Indigenous artists from around the world at our 2023 William and Louise Greaves Filmmaker Seminar! ⁠ ⁠ This can take the form of leading a workshop or holding a panel that explores the technical and creative aspects of media-making. Filmmakers can also apply to share a current film project during a work-in-progress discussion and participate in an exchange of ideas around the work.⁠ ⁠ We aim to spotlight artists working in a variety of disciplines related to filmmaking including but not limited to directing (specifically working with actors), composing, production design, editing, accessibility, and more. ⁠ ⁠ Visit the link in our bio to read more and submit a proposal by October 31.⁠ ⁠ Registration for seminar participants will open in early 2023.
